Job Title: Agile Java/Full Stack Developer

You will be joining the Origination and Advisory Technology team as an Agile Java Developer in the Client Manager Technology team. The team are responsible for the bank’s database of Origination deals and software that uses this data to mitigate risk and litigation that may arise from conflicts of interest. This is a key part of the bank’s “license to operate”. You will be responsible for developing the application full stack, including a TypeScript/React front end and a Java server.

Your key responsibilities

• Writing robust, well tested software & ensuring simplicity in our code
• Working with the business and other stakeholders to define requirements
• Working full stack (emphasis on the server)
• DevOps – managing Continuous Integration/Delivery pipeline and the production environment
• Pair programming

Your skills and experience

• Java developer experience
• JavaScript/TypeScript/ReactJS experience is desirable, but not essential, particularly if you’re willing to learn
• Experienced driving Object Oriented design using Test Driven Development
• Experienced using agile development practices to develop exceptional, robust software, like automated testing and pair programming
• Vision and expertise to incrementally transform the design of the application to make it flexible and robust
